I think it is Tennis, especially on the Majors not always that easy to find mistakes. I think the Tennis linesmakers much more talented than what Ken Whites guys does for popular american sports. Im guessing Tennis linesmakers actually played the game.

I handicap every sport, I do well in all of them, but this sport a little info can get you in trouble.

I find NFL and NBA (middling excluded) very difficult.

I'd tend to agree with Rail, I give tennis linesmakers a lot more credit than in most sports..

IMO NBA sides are pretty soft, but the totals tend to be very sharp.

Not even close

NBA totals are relatively weak as compared to many and most other sportsbetting lines due mainly because a linesmaker has very little time to make a good number on a daily basis involving these totals.

It is also the reason many sportsbooks have substantially lower limits on NBA totals compared to other things they offer.

If any handicapper is willing to invest the time and proper study into attacking NBA totals, they will undoubtedly have a very nice advantage day-in and day-out against the bookmaker.

Quite frankly, NBA TOTALS are a feast for many wiseguys year in and year out.

Who said I was a wiseguy, LOL. :howdy:

I have always had trouble with NBA totals, and don't even play them anymore. But it seems that every damn one I have ever been on has been decided by less than 5 points, many times coming down to the last FT off an intentional foul. Just my personal experience, but I believe you that they can surely be beat.

If linesmakers in Tennis are so sharp, how come the limits are so low compared to NFL?

The fact that they land so close to the numbers is one thing that makes them so valuable.

Golf lines at caribsports. Their lines are tight as a roll of dimes!!! It really does come down to a coin flip sometimes after an hour of studying. Almost done with rollover thank God.

I think NFL lines are easy to beat, HOME team is -3, takes NO TALENT to make an NFL Line. Also NFL one of the easier sports to beat, real easy to hit high 50's year in and year out. Playoffs rediculously easy. I see a ton of mediocre handicappers beat the NFL with regularity.

They are not very sharp, espically early. Books just throw a line out there and are unsure about injuries etc. Have to limit their exposure.

Rail - If tennis lines are the sharpest, why do you seem to bet it the most of all sports?
